What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign is an advanced orthodontic treatment system that uses removable, plastic aligners to improve the position of your teeth and jaw.

Invisalign aligners are made from SmartTrack® an FDA-approved plastic free of all chemicals, including gluten, latex, BPS, and BPA. The unique formulation ensures treatment is safe for anyone, including pregnant people and those with allergies.

What is ClearCorrect™?

ClearCorrect is very similar to Invisalign. The only difference is the material the aligners are made of. Like Invisalign, ClearCorrect is safe for teens and adults and provides stunning results.

What issues can Invisalign correct?

What does Invisalign treatment involve?

Before Dr. Davidson recommends Invisalign treatment, she conducts an oral exam, reviews your dental health history, and takes X-rays to assess the alignment of your teeth and jaw. 

If you have mild or moderate alignment issues, like crooked or overlapping teeth, Dr. Davidson takes digital scans of your mouth and uploads them to a computer program. The program allows Dr. Davidson to develop a custom orthodontic treatment plan that maps out the movements of your teeth and jaw.

Once Dr. Davidson finalizes the plan, she explains the treatment process. Then, she sends your scans to a dental facility that manufactures your first set of custom orthodontic aligners. About a week later when your aligners are ready, you return to Davidson Dental Group. 

Throughout orthodontic treatment, you visit Dr. Davidson every two or three weeks. At each visit, she monitors your progress and transitions you to a new pair of aligners. Over time, the aligners move your teeth and jaw into the correct position, transforming your smile.

How long does treatment with Invisalign take?

Treatment with Invisalign usually takes about 12-18 months*, but Dr. Davidson will consult with you and advise the appropriate timeframe. To ensure a satisfactory outcome, Dr. Davidson recommends wearing your aligners for 20-22 hours a day, only removing them to brush and floss or eat.
